Enable live migration tool to work with Global cluster configuration enabled

Currently, there is no Live migration tool option while enabling Global Cluster Configuration in Atlas. Please treat this ticket as a FEATURE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST to make this happen.

    Our current on-prem prod cluster has multiple shards with primaries in East Coast (Philadephia) and a few other shards with primary member in Central zone (Austin). This is because we serve customers in US and also other countries like UK, Ireland, Australia, etc. We would like to have a similar set up in Atlas as well and hence the need to turn on Global cluster configuration. With that, we would like to use Live Migration tool for the initial daya sync and eventually cut over. Thanks Krishna

    Hi Krishna, The reason there's no Live Migration for Atlas Global clusters today is that we've assumed no one would have created a Global Cluster with a consistent architecture to the model Atlas uses on their own before moving to Atlas: Can you shed some light on what you're looking to do?
