Support CentOS 8 alternatives like AlmaLinux or RockyLinux

As we all know, CentOS 8 has its EOL by December 2021. So it would be highly appreciated when the possible alternatives like AlmaLinux and/or RockyLinux would be officially supported

    Agree with Peter, Alma and Rocky are both 1:1 of RHEL, I also give my vote for adding Rocky Linux support.

    I realize that a lot of people are commenting asking here for support for Alma Linux, but really you need to support *both* Alma Linux and Rocky Linux. Both are highly recommended well maintained community distros with a strong userbase and solid reputation. Also they are nearly identical distributions, so it really shouldn't take much more effort to support both than it does to support just one.

    Please extend the support for MongoDB in AlmaLinux environment. As CentOS8 reached EOL on 31-Dec-2021, most of the users are migrating to AlmaLinux. As both CentOS 8.5 and AlmaLinux 8.5 are using the same Redhat Compatible Kernel, I hope there are no challenges in supporting AlmaLinux by MongoDB. Kindly consider this suggestion and include the support for Alma Linux at the earliest. Thanks in advance !!

    As CentOS 8 has EOLed, its utmost important to have MongoDB support for AlmaLinux to address the customers who has MongoDB in production.

    Please consider this as Almalinux claims one to one binary compatible with Centos. It should take less effort as compared to other Operating system. As users moving from Centos to other production ready Linux distro, it becomes important Mongodb supports it.
