Add " Auto-scaling" events of the clusters to the Activity feed

Auto scaling is a great feature and as of now if any cluster gets scaled up/down an alert email will be sent to the email list provided in the Access Manager . However , in the activity feed we are unable to see them . Use case: For instance if an user want to know how many times the Auto-scaling happened and at what specified time that event occurred on a particular cluster there is no definitive answer as the only way is to check the email alerts that's been received. It would be great if there is a way that " Auto-scaling" events can be incorporated into Activity feed

We would also like to be able to be alerted by slack in the same way we receive more traditional metrics alert. The reasion why it decided to scale-up or down is definitly something we need as It is an important key to understand if something is wrong in our workload and take the good cluster sizing decision.

Monitoring auto-scaling events is important for us. Thanks.

I wanted to additionally request that the auto-scaling messages in the Activity Feed be made a bit more verbose/useful - i.e. if auto-scaling is skipped, it would be incredibly valuable to have more information on why it was skipped - e.g. "expected mem usage to be above/below `` - mem usage was ``"

Hi Krishna - Thanks for the feedback - the feature you describe does exist (we do show autoscaling events in the activity feed, it's called "compute auto-scale initiated"). If it's not showing up for you, can you ping me at rez@mongodb.com and I can take a look Rez
